Reverend Jeffery Rushing<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t

Reverend Jeffrey Rushing is a native of Monroe, North Carolina, born to Jesse and Hazel Rushing. He is married to Janet Linker, hailing from Cabarrus County, NC. Together, they are blessed with four children: Jessica Leigh, Carla Marie, Carrianne Brooke, and Jeffrey Blair.\n\nRev. Rushing felt the call to ministry early in life and was licensed to preach in 1983. He pursued his higher education at Pfeiffer University and furthered his theological studies at Duke Divinity School. His commitment to his faith and community led to his ordination as a Deacon in the United Methodist Church in 1991 and later as an Elder in 1993.\n\nThroughout his ministry, Rev. Rushing has served several congregations with dedication and compassion. He began his pastoral journey at Fountain Hill-Mt. Moriah Church in the Albemarle District of the Western North Carolina Conference. He then moved on to serve at First Street United Methodist Church in Albemarle. Currently, he is the esteemed pastor of Westford Methodist Church in Concord, NC.\n\nOutside of his clerical duties, Rev. Rushing is an avid sports enthusiast. He enjoys playing golf and softball, as well as engaging in hunting and fishing. He also has a keen interest in politics and is a passionate spectator of various sports.<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
